The aim of the site, is to raise the public's awareness and concerns about the impending carpark tax, which the government intends to impose in the near future. Early indications suggest that the tax will come into effect between 2010 and 2014.

With people's finances stretched to the limit as it is, in this current economic environment, many fear this new levy will force people to take drastic action in a variety of ways. Many of those interviewed, have already said they would consider selling their cars and taking public transport. Some have gone as far as to say, that they would even think about changing jobs to reduce travelling costs, and be closer to where they live.

Taking all these factors into consideration, will the government still try and push this law through parliament? Most likely, yes. Or will they ask the public what they want? Some how, i don't think so.
